National Units for Mine Action and Development Organization – NUMAD
The National Units for Mine Action and Development (NUMAD) is a non- profit, non-governmental and neutral Humanitarian and Developmental Organization working on clearing landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXOs) as well as development work.
The National Units for Mine Action and Development (NUMAD) has been registered at Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in 2014.
The NUMAD organization is working across the five pillars of mine action strategies which includes; supporting and provision of essential services to the  landmines/ERW victims and vulnerable conflict affected communities and those who live in poverty in war affected areas in Sudan.
NUMAD is operational in different villages, localities and states across the country include Blue Nile,South Kordofan, Kassala and Darfur states . All field offices are managed by the main office in Khartoum.

Mission

To achieve its vision the NUMAD will be working with different strategic partners and stakeholders, protect and support the vulnerable people from mines and explosive hazards and enhance their sustainable development in safe environment using technologies and practical solutions.
