Introduction about NUMAD
NUMAD is a leading organization in mine action. It is registered in the Humanitarian Aid Commission in 2014 and accredited by the National Mine Action Center. It works according to National and international standards, it has great experience in Mine Action activities at all regions of Sudan.

The International Day for Mine Awareness was held every year on 4th April and celebrated throughout Sudan states.

Female Basic Demining Training course-EOD level 1
The role of women in all aspects of life remains a strategic goal in light of the technological progress in the world. Women have found their seat in all fields, companied the man in all life activities, including mine action, taking into account Gender and diversity in Mine Action program in Sudan. Women have been trained in The Basics Demining Course (EOD) level one in 2021 included employees of other organizations working in mine action. NUMAD participated in 12 studies. The organization took leads in launching the initiative and starting to arrange it, and then it was adopted by National Mine Action Center and UNMAS. Carried by purely national cadres, this training is considered as the first gesture concerned with women in the field of clearance.
